Look at the IP address of the Gateway, it should be a Private IP address e.g. 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 for your model router. It should not be a Public IP address or an APIPA address (169.254.x.y). If you see no mention of the Gateway then the PC IP address may be an APIPA address.
